An introduction to tea bag folding:
Tea bag folding uses small squares or patterned paper tiles combined with simple Origami techniques. Once folded these small origami shapes are combined to create geometric patterns in the form of medallions, stars, flowers etc..
Any paper can be used for tea bag folding, but the beauty of the finished medallions comes from the repeat patterns that are created when identical patterned folded squares are combined ... as in a kaleidscope design.
